British Male Voice Actor

So, you have found your way on to my ABOUT page. To begin with, I am Martin Allanson, an actor and voice over who was born in the year of the Ox. However, if you’re looking for more details about me (a British Male Voice Actor born in the year of the Ox), I’ll endeavour to add some below.

Firstly, I grew up in the Midlands and came to London for University.

Secondly, I have been a Voice Over for around 15 years, since I graduated from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. At this point, I split my time between acting and voiceover. Although, even whilst I am out on tour I will still check in to the nearest studio for a daytime session.

Thirdly, when I am home I work out of my recording studio in Wembley, London. This means, clients can dial in from around the world and direct the session live. I love working with companies big or small and being asked to represent their brand and help them grow their business is always a real privilege.

Finally, I know sourcing a voice artist isn’t always easy. That’s why part of my job is to make the process as simple as possible. As a matter of fact most voiceover jobs are completed within a couple of hours. I always include, into the quote, as many pickups/retakes as needed until you are 100% happy. Importantly for me, I want you to be thrilled with the end result.

Also, if you happen to be looking for more than one British voice actor, male or female, I have lots of contacts that I have worked with over the years. I would be happy to put together a group of voice reels for you.

8 years ago today I took my first @GravyForBrain #voiceover course. I’m still a member today and constantly recommend it to voiceovers old and new. An invaluable resource! Thank you to @Hugh_Edwards @peterdickson and the whole team! Hope you have a great year!!

Lovely to be back at Monkswell Manor this aftornoon. Great to catch up with ⁦@adamski1974⁩ as well x

First day back in a theatre since March last year. Thanks to the cast and crew @ParkTheatre for a great production of @whendarknessfa3

Lovely interview w/ @KnightImogen in @TheStage today. Looks like we had the same experience on our first ever professional job, with the great @IRubasingham. "I had no idea what I was doing, but it was an amazing experience."
