These sessions are designed around you and your goals. However you may want to consider some of the below sessions as a starting point when booking your 1-2-1 voiceover coaching.

    An Introductory session in to all of the possibilities of the VO business. Here we will cover all the basics of the industry and how to get started.

    ‘Success’ isn’t just about the mic; it’s about the hustle. Master the “back-end’ of the profession, including networking, marketing and negotiating.

  • Script Roulette

    The joy of Voiceover is learning how to dissect and play with a script. With an emphasis of taking someone else’s words and making them your own.

  • Characters

    From Video Games to Anime and D&D, we explore how to build a character from the ground up, based upon a clients brief. Then taking that character in to a live session.

  • Home Studio

    More and more clients are looking for a voiceover with their own home studio. From acoustics to DAWs we will debunk the myths of building a home studio and recording in it.

MEET YOUR TRAINER: Martin trained as an actor at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and has been a voiceover artist for 20 years. As well as travelling the world as an actor, and having his own show on BBC Radio 4. His voice has represented brands such as Lego, Samsung, M&S amongst many others. Martin has also taught at many of the UK’s best Drama Schools.

I’m a total beginner – is this for me?

The trend of the voiceover industry is ‘real voices’, voices that represent the communities we live in. Clients are constantly looking for ‘Guy/Girl next door delivery. Performances without the performance.

That isn’t to say there isn’t lots to learn and lots of tips and tricks we can help you with. The ‘Foundations’ session is specifically designed to get you started on your journey and answer any questions you may have.

What technical setup do I need for our session?

A stable internet connection and a pair of headphones. The sessions are conducted over Google Meet.

Do you produce demo reels?

While I don’t produce the final reels myself, I will work with you to select and polish your scripts so that when you do go into the studio, you are 100% prepared to deliver a professional-grade demo. We have lots of trusted producers we can recommend.

Will you help me find an agent?

That is not the goal of the sessions. An agent is not what will give you a voiceover career. Whilst they can be very helpful and an asset to your business. Many voiceovers rely on their own networking and marketing to grow and sustain their business

How many sessions will I need?

I graduated from a three year acting course in 2008 and have worked as an actor since then. I still attend acting and vocal classes weekly. You will never stop learning.

However everyone has different goals. Some actors just require preparation for an audition. Whilst others want guiding their whole development.

There is no commitment to booking more than one session at a time. If you have any questions prior to booking please do not hesitate to get in touch.

What will we work on in the sessions?

These sessions are entirely bespoke. Through speaking to you prior to the session we will tailor something completely to your needs.

What is the cancellation policy?

We totally understand that sometimes situations change. We kindly ask for you to let us know of any cancellations as soon as possible. This allows me to offer the slot to other talent on the waiting list.

All sessions cancelled 48 hours beforehand will be fully reimbursed.
